Crocheting, cross-stitching brings out woman’s creativity

September 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

No doubt about it.

There’s whole lot more crochet can do for you and me.

Another great story is about Rachel Bird of Marion, OH.

She finds crocheting and cross-stitching relaxing - which she learned from her mother when she was a teenager.

Not only crocheting is her creative outlet, does she also make her living out of oing what she loves.

Amazing story. Read the full story here:

Rachel Bird’s Story

I must say it’s a great story: from learning the craft to bringing out creativity to making a living out of crocheting.

If you don’t have a mother or someone to teach you how to crochet, check out this real simple program:

Crochet Mastery

Learn to relax and bring out your creativity.

And also make some money ;-)

I hope you like the story and you are being inspired by it.

At least I am.

Got to go to get “hooked”…

See you.

Crochet and Save the Children

September 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

They put their crocheting skills into good use.

They gathered and crocheted baby caps more than a week ago.

I’m talking about an event (held in Westport, CT) organized by Save the Children.

They hooked up crocheters and knitters to raise awareness in newborn deaths.

The baby caps will be delivered to the countries where Save the Children has field offices to be given to new mothers.

It’s heart-warming to find that the crocheters community are doing its part in saving the
children.

Here’s what you can do…

If you’re interested in doing your part, find out more here:

Save the Children

The pattern for a baby cap can be found there.

Your little gesture will keep many babies warm.

Bravo to those who participated and contributing to the event.
